About Us

DSI's faculty development team offers a combined 75 years of experience in education, 40 of which are specifically in faculty development and college teaching. Our expert team, including three doctorate-holding members, is committed to advancing evidence-based teaching and learning practices. We've developed three signature faculty institutes grounded in research, supporting nearly 300 UNT faculty in just two years. Our impact is measurable: CETO has decreased DFWI rates by 2.44% and raised average GPA by 0.14 points. Additionally, in the past two years alone, we've delivered 56 workshops and educational technology trainings with over 600 in attendance. Join us in teaching forward through innovation to elevate student success!
