Announcing DSI's FY24 Senior Innovation Fellow - Dr. Beddhu Murali
DSI recognizes the exceptional expertise of our UNT faculty, and strives to find ways
to build collaborations that benefit the university in our efforts toward digital
transformation. In this endeavor, DSI selects a Senior Innovation Fellow (SIF) each
academic year to serve as the primary expert on a signature project. Given the quick
advancement and continually evolving landscape of Generative AI, DSI is excited to
announce the FY24 project will be Geneartive AI at UNT and our SIF expert will be
Dr. Beddu Murali.
Dr. Beddhu Murali, the DSI Senior Innovation Fellow for FY24, is a faculty member
in the department of Computer Science and is a member of the UNT ad hoc Generative
AI Steering Committee. He is instrumental in the design and the technical implementation
of the evolving UNT strategy of using open-source Generative AI technologies as powerful
tools for providing timely and accurate UNT-specific information and data to multiple
stakeholders across the UNT campus.

and campus colleagues was paramount in developing this site. Content is carefully
