Student Preparation for Move to Fully Remote Classes

As UNT continues to monitor health conditions on campus and in the community, it may become necessary for one or more of your in-person classes to transition to fully remote instruction.  Please take the following preparatory steps in the event your fall course must be delivered fully remote:

  1. Ensure you can access the course via Canvas - https://unt.instructure.com
  2. After logging in to Canvas, click on the Canvas Calendar icon and turn on notifications to get updates and stay on track - https://online.unt.edu/canvas-basics-unt-students
  3. Use Zoom for synchronous (live) interactions and to attend office hours with your instructor - https://online.unt.edu/zoom-access-students
    1. If you do not have a computer camera, check one out from the UNT Library - https://library.unt.edu/services
  4. Login to your Canvas course daily and read all notifications (announcements or email) from your instructor.
  5. Contact the UIT Helpdesk for assistance - https://it.unt.edu/helpdesk
