Karen Bollinger is the Asst. Vice President for Digital Growth and has the distinct pleasure of leading the best team on the planet. Through academic marketing, Karen has dedicated most of her career to connecting curious people to remarkable academic opportunity that transforms their lives. She’s also a beekeeper, violinist and a proud mother and grandmother.

Cindy Carter is the Senior Administrative Assistant to Karen Bollinger, DSI Digital Growth’s Assistant Vice President. Cindy’s duties include departmental administrative tasks as well as the aggregation and distribution of digital marketing campaign leads to academic partners. Cindy and her husband, Brent share their lives with five children and nine grandchildren.

Taylor Abramson is the Digital Growth Marketing Coordinator. With a strong understanding of the evolving digital landscape, Taylor leverages her skill to maintain UNT Online social media platforms and engage with digital audiences. Taylor fosters connections with academic partners by driving program visibility through engaging written content. Taylor is an avid knitter and an active participant in her local fiber arts community. She additionally enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and spending time in nature.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, DSI DIGITAL GROWTH

Patrick Pluscht joined UNT in 1997 to start distance education and currently serves as the Executive Director of DSI Digital Growth where he focuses on data wrangling, market research, and strategic relationship building in support of online enrollment growth. He currently chairs the Learning Technology Advisory Committee of the THECB, has served on USDLA Board of Directors and Advisory Board, and the TxDLA Board including five years as Board Chair. He has received the “Outstanding Commitment to TxDLA by an Individual” award (2002 and 2004), the Don Foshee Award (2005), was inducted into the Texas Distance Learning Hall of Fame in 2021. Patrick and his wife, Christine, have 3 children who are attending or have graduated from UNT.  Patrick enjoys live music performances, creative arts, and sunset photography.

Caleb Walter is the Digital Marketing Manager on the Digital Growth Team. Caleb is responsible for planning, implementing, and executing digital marketing campaigns across various marketing channels. He collaborates with UNT marketing team members and vendors to measure and report on campaign performance, identify trends and insights, and optimize strategies based on the data. In his spare time, Caleb enjoys reading and cooking. A fun fact about Caleb is that he really loves bad movies.

Dan Wenk is the IT Senior Programmer Analyst on the Digital Growth Team. Dan’s understanding of technological evolution enables him to expertly adapt to emerging web design and development trends. Dan leverages his deep insight into the academic landscape to help numerous UNT colleges and departments achieve their enrollment and branding goals. Beyond his professional endeavors, Dan enjoys patronizing local musicians and attending concerts, with a particular affinity for reggae whenever the opportunity arises. Dan also enjoys spending time at home with is loving wife, Julianna, and their two wonderful children, Stephen and Sabrina.
