The following resources are intended to assist you in navigating the evolving landscape of AI in Higher Education.

AI for Teaching and Learning

Book
AI Ethics
AI Ethics by Mark Coeckelbergh (University of Vienna) is an accessible introduction to the complex ethical challenges surrounding AI. The book grounds its discussions in philosophical debates, including humanism vs. posthumanism and Enlightenment vs. Romanticism, encouraging readers to reflect on how AI ethics also reveal deeper ethical questions about humanity itself. While it predates the widespread use of large language models, AI Ethics remains a relevant primer.

AI Ethics is part of MIT Press' Essential Knowledge series, which includes other introductions to AI topics.
Online Resource
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy Collection
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy Collection contains open access resources that provide policy overviews, implementation plans, guiding frameworks, and resources for implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning in a wide range of environments. Developed and maintained by the UNT Libraries, this collection includes documents published by Federal agencies, non-governmental organizations, international, state, and local governments
